2010 Competition Season -Team Results

It's that time again - Competition season has begun!

The Diva's Competition team has started off the 2010 season with a bang taking top places at Starbound, Stage One & Cathy Roe Regional competitions held in Dallas.  Here is what the judges had to say about the DCJ "Diva's" as well as special Judges Awards. 

"Dianne - I just wanted to send you a quick message to tell you how utterly impressed I was with your girls this weekend! They were all a joy to watch and extremely inspiring! I told my mom, why didn't you send me to DCJ to train as a child- cause she is the BEST! You are a fantastic teacher and loved watching girls with perfect technique! 2009 Regional  Stage One Competition: (Platinum =Top Award)

With 30 dance studios participating and over 730 entries, the Diva's performed at the top - receiving the Highest Overall Score and the 2nd highest overall score of the day!!  Shoeless Joe received the highest overall score, beating out 729 entries as well as receiving the "Entertainment Award".  The line/production number, "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" received the 2nd overall  score of the day and received the "Technical Excellence Award" .

 2010 Regional  Cathy Roe's Ultimate Dance Competition:  (Platinum = Top Award) 

Special Awards:    Judge's Award:  Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was selected as Best Precision and was the 1st runner up Jr. High Score Production.    In addition to the Best Precision Judges Award,  Mambo was 1 of 4 dances selected from 300 dances to be in the Choreography Review.
