Cassie Dianne Summers, a Native Texan, has been dancing for 25 years. She has performed throughout the U.S. in works by artists including Twyla Tharp, Ursula Payne, Sarah Gamblin, Tiffanee Arnold, and the companies Muscle Memory Dance Theater, Repertory Dance Theater of Texas, Collin Dance Ensemble, Simple Sparrow, and Big Rig Dance Collective. She earned her B.A. from Texas Woman’s University followed by two years of post-graduate work. Summers has also studied at California Institute of the Arts under Dean Stephan Koplowitz, Collin College - receiving the Tiffanee Arnold Foundation Scholarship and Performer of the Year, and two seasons at the prestigious American Dance Festival in Durham, North Carolina. Summers’ diverse background in education, competitive figure skating, cross-country and swimming has made her a fiercely athletic and diverse performer and thoroughly integrated teacher. Her choreography has been showcased throughout the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex and presented for adjudication at the American College Dance Festival. Summers has been teaching beginning through advanced ballet and modern for over 10 years. Most recently, Summers has joined the to be named company under artistic direction from Tiffanee Arnold and begun her 200-hr Registered Yoga Teacher training.
