Erin Gonzalez

Ms. Erin started dancing at the age of three and has been a student of the arts ever since.  After moving to Carrollton in 1995 she began dancing at Dianne Cole Johnson School of Dance.  She was a part of the Repertory Dance Theatre of Texas and the competition team over the course of ten years dancing with DCJ.  Erin is a graduate from Baylor University School of Theater Arts; where she studied both classical and musical theatre.  While there she was the assistant choreographer and dance captain for many shows such as “The Drowsy Chaperone” and “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.”   After graduation Erin went on to choreograph for area high school musicals and was a featured actress in the independent film “Sironia.”  Erin teaches, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, tap and is a choreographer for the Divas Competition Team and her goal is to give every child the skills to be well rounded dancers and to love of all types of dance.  Some of her favorite memories while dancing at DCJ are the many performances of The Night Before Christmas and having Ms. Dianne as her ballet teacher for ten years.  She will continue to be her inspiration for teaching and hopes to continue to make her proud. This is Erin’s ninth year teaching for DCJ and is looking forward to the upcoming year of dance!
